The G.O.P. & The Church

Yesterday in a news report, Yahoo stated that the G.O.P.
was benefiting from the continued growth of the Evangelical
Church in the U.S.A. That's a scary thought for the liberal press
and liberals. No mention was made of the fact that Rev. Jessie
Jackson, Senator Hillary Clinton, and the Democratic uses the
liberal church. Let's see - One is good & one is bad.

The evangelical church believes in the truths that our founding
Fathers would have held dear & heard in their churches:

1) Limited government involvement in our lives.
2) All life is sacred (including babies - Ps 139).
3) Marriage is sacred & should be between one man & one woman.
4) Terrorism is bad & our troops are fighting for a righteous cause.
5) Saddam Hussein & Osama bin Laden are bad & George Bush is good.

The Church, Israel, Jews & The Apple Of God's Eye

Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him,
saying, "Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to
Israel?" And He said to them, "It is not for you to know times
or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority.
- Acts 1:6 & 7

Jesus Disciples asked Him if Israel would be restored (free
from Roman occupation) and have the "Son of David" (Jesus)
rule (Is 9:6 & 7) forever from Jerusalem.

This indicates:

1) The Disciples had been taught to expect this.

2) Jesus did not correct them.

Very sorry to my great "covenant" friends but you're wrong
here. The church is not Israel and the two are forever different
with different roles & different futures.

Israel will have to go through the 7 year Tribulation period while

the Church will be taken up shortly before. After King Jesus -
The Jewish Messiah returns, He will rule the entire Earth for
1000 years. The promises of the Old Testament requires this
& the final Book of the Bible demands it.
